Almost a decade ago I lost my sight, but not my creativity or passion for crafts. At times it felt easy to give up and fall into depression but the Center for the Blind taught me that I was not alone and helped me to reset. I had to relearn the simplest of tasks like pouring a glass of water, crossing the street or reading. The center for the Blind provided me with the tools to survive the darkness.
Over the years, after numerous surgeries and with the help of my team of Doctors & Nurses, my vision has improved. With my improved sight, I have become more confident in my abilities to pursue my passions. In spite of being visually impaired, life goes on and I can attest that living life, is doing what you love.
Impaired Perfections was an organic response to my new normal...when I'm able to see people or things, they are always perfect in my eyes!
